How I use AI in my business

EPISODE 80

Notes

Artificial Intelligence is a huge topic at the moment and quite a divisive one but whether we like it or not, it’s already here and it’s not going anywhere. When I realised this, I decided I wanted to ride this wave of change and began implementing AI into my business.

Some of the things I tried have been game changers but others have wasted more time than they’ve saved. In this episode, I want to share my experience so that you get a better idea of the possibilities and the limitations of AI in business.

One way I use AI in my business is by getting it to produce transcripts of recorded video meetings and compile summaries that I can send directly to clients. This not only saves me time but has become a key component in my sales process.

I also talk about my experience using the “Expert In My Business” program. It’s an AI tool that scans your business's Xero data for duplicates, errors, and anomalies and presents a summary report of these findings, allowing you to quickly address any potential issues. It all sounds great on paper but I have found that checking through these reports has taken time and added stress.

Artificial Intelligence can be incredibly beneficial to our businesses and workflow, but it’s essential to remember that just because it is helpful to another business doesn’t mean it will be helpful to you. Still, I’m excited to see what the future holds and how else I can use AI to enhance the capabilities of my team to deliver a better service for our clients.
