Getting your business tech sorted with Kiah Worling

EPISODE 39

Notes

Today I chat with the incredible tech entrepreneur Kiah Worling. Kiah’s business why is to better the lives of others through the smart use of technology. She believes our time is so much better spent on more fulfilling things like wowing our customers, being with our families or pursuing our hobbies.

I recently enlisted the help of Kiah to sort out the digital mess in my own business. I had lots of apps that were sort-of working, but not optimised to work together. Kiah’s work in my business has been game-changing.

In our conversation, I ask Kiah all the questions that I know will benefit other business owners including what the biggest time-wasting manual mistakes made in business are. Kiah also shares the top things that every entrepreneur should consider automating in their business, including payments, scheduling and content and marketing.

Kiah shares her favourite tech apps, including Google Workspace, Zapier and why a customer relationship management (CRM) app is essential for your business. We also explore when and why it’s important to do things yourself in your business, and when it can be helpful to outsource, including creative ways of doing this.

Kiah also reveals a clever tip around newsletter automation that could save you significant time and mental load if you send out a weekly newsletter.

And for mum business owners out there, she shares some great wisdom around career progression, flexibility,  protecting time and her top scheduling hacks.

I know you’ll learn a lot from Kiah’s tech wisdom, as well as the knowledge she’s accrued from seven years in business. Kiah’s tips will crack open time in your week to be creative and lighten the BAU load.
